How cool must it be to receive that type of greeting at an airport? Fans chanting your name and “Celtics, hoo-rah!” It sure as hell beats “Mr. McKenney, the customs department would like to perform a full body cavity search.”
Ten days ago we reported (from an obscure source) that Pierce would play on a US All-Star team in the Continental Club Basketball Championships from August 20 – 28. It appears that is happening.
