I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here’s a dose of ‘enemy chatter’ from New Jersey.

Defining moment: The second quarter, when the Celtics’ full-court press unraveled the Nets completely. New Jersey couldn’t get the ball up court without serious issue and turned the ball over multiple times After the Nets got it as close as four, MarShon Brooks threw two passes away, dribbled a third ball off his foot, and the Nets couldn’t get a good shot off. The Nets didn’t score a field goal and turned it over five times in almost seven minutes.

Nets are Scorching

“The press actually hurt us,” Williams said. “It was a good move by them. We’re an NBA team – we should be able to beat a simple press.”

Did an old defensive play sheet from the Rick Pitino era get accidentally mixed in with Doc’s stuff?
