Redskins -2.5

New England couldn’t get it down for us last week, but as always, we are looking to bounce right back here. I like the Redskins to get the win here at home over an overrated Packers team. The Redskins have a solid pass defense anchored by Josh Norman, which should give a Packers team trouble that relies almost exclusively on moving the chains through the air. The way to attack the Redskins is against their rushing defense (30th-ranked in the league in DVOA), but through a combination of injuries and ineffectiveness, Green Bay is ill-equipped to take advantage. I do not see it happening.

Kirk Cousins has been pretty consistent over the last few weeks, sporting a QB rating of 97 or better each of the past three weeks, helping Washington to continue to compete in a tough NFC East division. I think the Redskins will be able to move the ball against Green Bay with their balanced passing attack. DeSean Jackson is expected to play coming off a should injury and he’ll help spread out the Packers secondary and open things up for Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder.

All in all, the Redskins are the better overall team and I like them to cover the low number at home. Prediction: 30-23 Redskins.

Good luck.
