LOOK: Texans get screwed on DeAndre Hopkins no-TD call

Houston Texans v Denver Broncos

Houston Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins appeared to score the first touchdown of the game on Monday Night Football, but it didn’t count.

Unfortunately, the play was blown dead by officials, as one ref signaled that Hopkins stepped out of bounds on a long catch-and-run during the first quarter when he went the distance and ended up in the end zone.

Except he didn’t, at least we don’t think so. You be the judge.

Here’s video of the play in question. Did he really step out at the 36-yard line?

The Raiders then held the Texans to a field goal, and answered with a touchdown drive of their own to take a 7-3 lead. This was a big blown call that affected the early part of the game.
