Report: A.J. Green could return in Week 14

Buffalo Bills v Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green will reportedly miss his second straight game on Sunday with a hamstring injury,  but there is reason for optimism that he could return before the end of the season.

Sources told ESPN’s Bob Holtzman that Green’s hamstring is “healing as expected” and a Week 14 return is “possible” for the five-time Pro Bowl selection.

Green was carted off the field after two plays in a 16-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 20, and he missed last Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Bengals host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Green has 66 catches for 964 yards and four touchdowns. He is just 36 yards short of 1,000 receiving yards for the sixth consecutive season.
