The Oilers Rig Top 10 - Oilers Draft Busts

Drafted 19th overall in the 1996 Entry Draft, the Oilers had high hopes for the 6’4″ 201lb left shot defenceman. Those hopes were never realized, however, as Descoteaux never dressed in a game for the Oilers. He did however get in 5 games with the Montreal Canadiens in the 2000-2001 season. The big frenchman stuck around in the AHL for a few years then finished his career in the Quebec pro league LNAH.
