The Pelicans Lose Pre-Season Opener Against The Bulls

New Orleans Pelicans v Chicago Bulls

Smoothie King Center– The New Orleans Pelicans opened the 2017 Preseason with a loss to the Chicago Bulls. The Pelicans Head Coach Alvin Gentry played the starters for 3 quarters where the team made it competitive with the scrappy Bulls.

The Pells dominate the 1 quarter 46- 30 but loss every other quarter to Chicago. The Bulls led by Center Cristiano Felicio’s 15 points & 5 rebounds were too hot as they shot 51.2% from the field & 45.7% from downtown.

The Pelicans were competitive as the twin towers All-Star combination of A.D. & Boogie Cousin combined for a 44 of the teams 109 points. Coach Gentry did sit the starters in the fourth quarter to play bench role players.
