Twins manager Paul Molitor was awarded with the prize for 2017 AL Manager of the Year. He was, of course, given the unenviable task of turning around the completely hapless Twins of 2016, who had managed to lose 103 games, managed by Paul Molitor. 2016 Molitor oversaw the collapse a year after manager Paul Molitor managed a resurgent Minnesota squad to 83 wins.

Nice work, Paul! Congratulations for slipping that one epic dud of a season in between to make this year look even better.
