Perhaps we have an explanation for Aaron Rodgers’ two successful Hail Marys in 2015.
He might have some out-of-this-world friends on his side.
The Packers’ quarterback was a guest of actor/comedian Pete Holmes on the “You Made it Weird” podcast and via the Milwaukee Record talked about how he and Cal teammate Steve Levy saw a UFO above New Jersey in 2005.
“It was a large orange, left-to-right-moving object. Because of the overcast nature of the night and the snow, you couldn’t make out—it was kind of behind the clouds we were seeing, but it was definitively large, moving from left to right. It was me, Steve [Levy], and his brother that saw it. And it goes out of sight and we look at each other and go ‘What in the fuck was that?’”
Rodgers, who has thrown a very identifiable object into the air for 257 touchdowns, isn’t the only person to recount strange sightings near a nuclear power plant in South Jersey, according to NJ.com.
Had this UFO sighting occurred within the last five years or so, we could just dismiss it as just another case of the Discount Double Check guy popping up in weird places.
However, this is long before that advertising campaign started. Maybe Rodgers is the one who will confirm for us once and for all that there are aliens out there.
And Roger Goodell will want to have a regular-season NFL game on whatever planet these aliens are from.
