Cardinals Game On Fox Sports 1 Tonight

Tim-Thomas-Rises

Belly up to the Twitter tonight around 7p and watch people get confused.

For the first time, the Cardinals will be on Fox Sports 1, not Fox Sports Midwest.

FS1 replaced SPEED Network in August of 2013 as a direct competitor of the ESPN family of networks. They did not broadcast baseball in 2013, but have a big presence in 2014.

26 games this season (mainly on Saturdays) will be seen on FS1 only with no regional telecast. More of an explanation of the machinations behind this move can be found here.

Long story short, if you haven’t found FS1 on your provider yet, tonight you’ll need to. Below is a list of STL area stations and providers:

FOX Sports 1 can be found on: AT&T U-verse 652 (SD) and 1652 (HD); Charter 43 and 211 (SD) and 811 (HD); Comcast (Downstate Illinois) 68 (SD) and 946 (HD); DirecTV 219 (SD and HD); Dish 150 (SD and HD); Fidelity 66 and 466 Mediacom (Iowa) 74 (SD) and 861 (HD); Mediacom (Mid-Missouri) 163 and 761 (HD); Suddenlink 48 and 248. Other cable subscribers can locate FOX Sports 1 channel information at FOXSports1.com.
