My hit rate for seeing Best Picture nominees was 20% (Moneyball  and somehow Midnight in Paris), so I’m not qualified to speak on the validity of The Artist’s win of the Academy Award last night. But I do hope that the films multiple wins do fill our quota for French man on man kissing for this century…

The trickle of news coming out of Jupiter bodes well for the Cardinals early on. In 2011, the circus was in town to grill Pujols on his non- contract and while they were there for that an Adam Wainwright elbow party broke out.  9 days in and the only thing to report is that Lance Berkman find fake moustache’s hilarious…

Kudos to Albert Pujols (and/or his publicist) for denouncing the ‘El Hombre’ campaign that was popping up on billboards all over Los Angeles the past month.  The Angels have since replaced the campaign with a much more generic message and Albert has come out to clarify his stance that Stan Musial is still ‘El Hombre’…

Chaz Bono is coming to Northwest Missouri State University

Great to see Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee laughing behind the batting cage at Spring Training. The more former players want to hang around the Cardinals the better…
