Biggest Upsets of 2012 (#7): Toledo 29 Cincinnati 23

Cincinnati came into this game 5-0 and ranked #21 in the country. Toledo came in at 6-1 with a road loss to Arizona. The Bearcats were a 7.5 point favorite despite playing on the road.

Toledo jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter with a field goal and a 75 yard interception return for a TD. The Rockets led 13-0 before the Bearcats found the end zone on a two yard TD run by Munchie Legaux but held a 16-13 lead at half.

In the second half, Toledo quickly added a FG but Cincinnati looked like they righted the ship as Legaux hit Damon Julian with a 25 yard pass to take their first lead of the game. The lead was short lived as Toledo's Bernard Reedy took the next kick-off and shot up the middle for 91 yards and a TD as the Rockets once again seized the momentum. Each team would add a FG but the Reedy's return was the straw that broke the camel's back and gave the MAC a big win over one of the favorites in the Big East.
