Caldwell thinks Ugoh will fight

One day after raining on my parade, Johnny O brings out a ray of sunshine.

Caldwell, speaking a day after the Colts announced that four-year veteran Charlie Johnson is the starter at left tackle — a position Ugoh held much of the past two seasons — said Ugoh likely didn’t like the decision, and further, that he anticipates Ugoh will “do something about it.’

“This game is a game of competition,” Caldwell said shortly after the Colts’ morning practice Tuesday at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. “Obviously, he’s a guy who certainly has a lot of pride in what he’s doing. Charlie’s been a fine player for us. We suspect Tony’s probably not happy with the move. He’ll do something about it.”
