I’ve always said I thought Marvin would disappear after he left football, rarely heard from (unless you happened to need your car washed in a certain area of Philly). How weird that he might be back in Indianapolis next season playing for a different team?
If I had to see Marvin play again I’d rather it be in like ten years in some Pacific Coast scrub league game. Like Shoeless Joe Jackson or Ricky Henderson. “Who’s the old dude?” “I don’t know, but he’s got the hands of an ninja master…” Actually I think Jerry Rice might still be playing in one of those leagues.
