Do you have two hands? Do you understand the rules of football? Are you willing to risk potentially devastating long-term injury to your body? If you answered yes to any of these questions, congratulations! You (yes, you!) are eligible to play wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts this week.

Already down their number two receiver, the Indianapolis Colts will be without their third option Phillip Dorsett, who is out with a foot and hamstring injury. Dorsett told reporters he expects to be ready for next week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. His injury comes as Donte Moncreif finishes his fifth consecutive week of not practicing. To make matters worse, the Colts will also be without their best offensive lineman Jack Mewhort. Chuck Pagano said he expects Mewhort to be available next week, but you’d be a fool to believe a word that comes out of that man’s mouth.

On the slightly less horrible bright side, the Colts’ secondary is healthy for the first time in what feels like forever. The same cannot be said for the defensive line, which will be without both Zach Kerr and Henry Anderson. Anderson missed the first quarter of the season with a knee injury he suffered last year.

Tight end Dwayne Allen will be out multiple weeks with a high ankle sprain because that’s just what he does.

There are leper colonies healthier than the Indianapolis Colts.
