Life Before Peyton

Many Colts fans are fairly new to the fold, converting because of the exploits of 18 and 88 in recent years.  For those of you who are new to the fold, or just happened to be born after 1990, we present to you the Classic Colts.

Today we add two new members to the club, correcting an egregious oversight.  First, by popular acclaim, we induct Duane Bickett to the club.  Bickett’s exclusion was unforgivable and due mainly to the fact that Demond and I had a very scientific manner for selecting entries when we first started.  I asked him which players we should select, and whatever he thought of, we included.  I am ashamed that it took so long to add Bickett.  He is most deserving.

We also induct Jon Hand.  He was a long time starter at DE for the Horse, and played his entire career in Indianapolis.  We welcome in both men with open arms and thank them for their years of service to the club.

There are other nominees under consideration, specifically Mark Prior.  I’m still waiting to be convinced.  I’m also open to hearing arguments about Chad Bratzke.  There are several current Colts who are virtual locks for induction such as Gary Brackett and Robert Mathis.  Tarik Glenn is expected to eventually be added to the Colts Ring of Honor, therefore we are sitting on his candidacy.

Oehser gives us good news on Lilja.  This is a BIG deal folks.  He was missed last year.

Not to be outdone, Chappell chimes in with great news about Brackett.  Tip to Cass.

I keep telling you, he’s the best.

Prisco uses a pass-first path to like the way the Colts are constructed.
