Stat of the Night

January 2008:  17 rushes for 50 yards.  2.94 yards per carry.  4 first downs rushing.

January 2009:  20 rushes for 56 yards.  2.80 yards per carry.  5 first downs rushing.

The Colts lost to the San Diego Chargers in the playoffs for the second year in a row.  In those two games the Colts have run 37 times for just 106 yards.  Remember the “old” days when the pass would set up the run and then the run would set up play action?

Reasons, not excuses.

DZ COMMENTS:
Bob Kravitz’s report card is conveniently not functioning right now. What it said before it strangely disappeared was that he thought the line played “pretty well” other than the one sack.

He apparently doesn’t actually watch football games.
