Week 5 Inactives: Kansas City v. Indianapolis

A determination has been made concerning the availability of the following players for this afternoon’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Joseph Addai – Active: Addai will start against the Chiefs, and is likely to get almost all the reps as Brown is ruled out, and Hart is unlikely to play.

Antoine Bethea – Active: The release of DaJuan Morgan is a sign of confidence that Bethea is healthy, and Bethea will in fact be available.

Donald Brown – Inactive: Brown sat out for most of the week, and will not play.

Austin Collie – Active: Collie practiced only once this week, and that was limited on Friday.  He may not get as much work as normal

Kavell Conner – Inactive: Conner is still rehabbing from his foot surgery, and will be out for the game.

Pierre Garcon – Active: Garcon had returned to practice at the beginning of the week and returns to the field for the Chiefs

Anthony Gonzalez – Inactive: Remains inactive for this week, but some reports hint his rehab may allow him to return to practice in the near future

Jerry Hughes – Inactive: Hughes will sit out once again in place of Riccardo Mathews as a Coaches Decision.

Jacob Lacey – Inactive: Lacey was hurt for much of the past week, and will sit out, giving Tryon reps against the Chiefs.

Jacques McClendon – Inactive: Like Huges, McClendon has been ruled out on a coaches decision in favor of DeVan, Richard, and Pollak.

Bob Sanders – Inactive: Rehab continues, and Sanders is obviously sitting for the game today.

Jamie Thomas – Inactive: Like McClendon, Thomas will not be available at guard, leaving just DeVan, Richard, and Pollak.

UPDATE:  DaJuan Morgan has been released (despite being interviewed for the pre-game show), and LB Tyjuan Hagler has been re-signed to the active roster.
