Or at least that’s what the word on the street is, if we’re wrong, don’t blame us, don’t hate the player, hate the game. Despite how it may shake up the current lineup and probably force Thornton to watch from the press box (we’ll miss you!), we hope he’s ready.

You know, now that I think about it, he’s usually paired with Marchand, who is just a little guy. Would that make him the Frodo to Bergeron’s Aragorn?
At least there’s no Sam in the on the team, otherwise they’d probably just make out the whole game…stupid, tricksy hobbits.

So aside from some links below, we’re going to avoid talking about the sign issue here, I think we’ve covered that quite enough for one day.
It’s hard for us to say this, especially since not nearly all of the Lightning’s 10 goals against the Bruins the past two games have been Thomas’s fault, but Timmy has got to be a little tighter. He’s still coming up big for us in tight spots, but maybe those spots didn’t have to be so tight in some cases.
Of course, the defense handing over the puck to Tampa Bay’s shooters really doesn’t help… and I’m looking at you Boychuk…I’ve come to expect this from Kaberle, but not you! I better see hipchecks galore tonight to make up for you’re sub-par Game 2.
Guy “Scarface” Boucher probably summed up last game best in his post game interview, that you can watch here if you haven’t already. If you don’t feel like sitting through the ad (and I don’t blame you) he basically say that with these goalies and these defenses, no one predicted a 6-5 game. He’s right, if both teams play the way they are capable, 2-1 or 3-2 is much more likely.
Projected Roster:
We haven’t a damn clue at this point, but here’s a guess assuming Bergeron is in fact in the line up. Thornton will almost definately be sitting, which means either Recchi or Peverley is going to be dropped down. Recchi hasn’t been quite as solid as Peverley, but breaking up the 2nd line now that Bergy is back doesn’t sound too appealing.
