After a decent run with the Los Angeles Dodgers late in the season and a flawless showing in the postseason, Brian Wilson is, as you would expect, beginning to field offers from teams across the Majors.
But one team that the free agent won't entertain playing for…the New York Yankees.
And it's pretty easy to see why not. The Bombers have a pretty strict facial hair policy and according to Mark Feinsand from the New York Daily News, Wilson, well…he's pretty content on keeping his.
Brian Wilson's agent told Brian Cashman that Wilson won't shave his beard. "Cross him off the list," Cashman said.

As we know, Wilson is a guy who isn't going to shave off his beard for money and, in a sense, kinda makes him this generation's Rollie Fingers. Back in 1986, the mustachioed closer was coming off a horrible season with the Milwaukee Brewers when the Cincinnati Reds became potential suitors for the future Hall of Famer.
And we all know how, at the time, the Reds brass felt about lip sweaters.
"Fingers started off by asking me if what he had heard and read was true, that is, would we require as a condition for trying out with the Reds, his removal of his handlebar mustache? I told him it was Cincinnati policy and would have to be uniformly applied," Bill Bergesch, the Reds general manager at the time said back in 1986. "[He told me] the mustache is my trademark, and it has been for 15 years. I am not about to shave it off just to play baseball."
So who else is barking up Wilson's tree? As it turns out…just about everyone.
