Eric Thames is Back in the Majors

It’s been four full seasons since Eric Thames last saw Major League pitching.

To put that into perspective…the Houston Astros had the basement of the National League Central on lockdown, Jamie Moyer was still somewhat employable (he did spend part of the season with Colorado) and Mike Trout had yet become a perennial MVP favorite.

Tuesday, the big league bust-turned-Korean baseball superstar inked a multi-year deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. No doubt, the Crew is hoping the 30-year-old slugger brings the .348 average, 124 home runs and 379 RBI he racked up during his three years with the NC Dinos to Beertown.

Something tells me the Brewers are also hopeful Thames’ popularity follows him back to the States.
