Hyun-Jin Ryu Shouldn’t be Jealous of K-Pop Superstar

By now you've seen that horrendous first pitch attempt by K-Pop singing sensation Tiffany, right?

Well, in case you haven't…here it is.

Turns out, fellow Korean import, Hyun-jin Ryu is jealous of Tiffany, but, obviously, not her pitching mechanics.

According to this random fansite dedicated to Tiffany's pop singing group Girls' Generation (don't ask), the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is jealous of her English skills.

"How is it here?" the pop star asked Ryu.

"It would be so much better if I could just speak [English]," he answered.  "I′m jealous of you…you′re good at English."

But, here's the rub…Tiffany (real name Stephanie Hwang) was born in San Francisco.  Sure, she ended up in Korea, but she didn't land there until high school.

Honestly, I don't care who speaks what, because there's no way anyone but Ryu could get Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw to go all "Gangnam Style".  Fact.
