I don’t know why you would…but if you’ve ever wanted to eat Jayson Werth’s beard, a McLean, Virginia bakery made it so Tuesday night. And it looked delicious.
Allow me explain.
To coincide with the Washington Nationals Werth-inspired garden gnome giveaway (it looks far more spectacular than it sounds), Fluffy Thoughts Cakes, a vendor at the team’s ballpark, was selling decorated sugar cookies modeled after the bearded outfielder
“We thought it was a great idea and went with it,” Fluffy Thoughts Cakes Lara Stein said.

But this isn’t the first time, Stein has made deserts to resemble members of the home team. Typically, they sell Werth cupcakes (complete with chocolate beard) and even cupcakes to resemble everyone’s favorite “Racing President” Theodore Roosevelt.
