Jerry Remy Loses Tooth…Hilarity Ensues

Just what kind of season has it been for the Boston Red Sox? Wednesday night, as the defending World Champs were poised to drop their third straight to the Chicago Cubs, a missing tooth became the top story.

During the fourth inning of what ended up being a route, color commentator Jerry Remy lost a tooth. Or, as his partner-in-crime Don Orsillo more accurately pointed out, it was a cap, but still…yuck.

And Orsillo’s advice? “Pop it back in.”

Now, I’m no dentist…but I’m guessing there’s a little more to it than that.
