Josh Reddick’s WrestleMania 30 Picks

miller3

There’s no other way to start this.  Josh Reddick is a huge wrestling fan.

He’s carries around his own WWE championship belt, competed in (and subsequently lost) a “beard off” with WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan and, just last month, hung out with Brock Lesnar during a NASCAR race.

Well, one year ago, in what we were hoping would become an annual event, The Hall was fortunate enough to have the Oakland A’s outfielder break down the card for WrestleMania 29.  The premise was simple, much like fellow Major League John Axford handicapping the Academy Awards, Reddick would pick the winners in some selected matches.

And while Reddick’s picks (he picked just three of five correct) weren’t as spot on as Axford’s, they were, probably just as exciting to pay attention to.  Thankfully, he’s back and ready to do it all again.

So, without further hyperbole…here are Reddick’s picks for seven of the top matches on the WrestleMania 30 card.

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee “ain’t losing” the title during the Divas Championship 14-Diva Match (or whatever it is being called).

Big Show will win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but feel free to throw in CM Punk as a Wild Card contender.

The Usos will maintain the Tag Team Championship belts with a win over The Real Americans, Los Matadores and Ryback and Curtis Axel.

Bray Wyatt is going to take down John Cena.

Plan on The Undertaker is going to stay perfect against the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar.

Daniel Bryan beating Triple H early…and then over Batista before finishing off Randy Orton in the main event.

The A’s have an afternoon game at home against the Seattle Mariners, but it’s a pretty safe bet that immediately after their plane touches down in Minnesota, Reddick is going to try and find the nearest internet connection so he can see how everything played out.

Make sure you check back to see how he did.
