Royals Outfielder Gets Self-Portrait Tattoo

Baseball players get baseball-themed tattoos.

That’s a no-brainer.

Some go low-key and simply get the MLB logo inked on their person. Others, like Paulo Orlando…they go all out and opt to get a little more personal.

“I just want to make something about baseball and my career and my life,” the Kansas City Royals outfielder said. “I think about making (at tattoo with) the trophy, the (World Series) championship.”

Suffice it to say, Orlando’s mind was changed.

Yikes.

Prior to heading to Spring Training, Brazilian triples machine (dude hit five in his first seven games last season) got a gigantic self-portrait commemorating his big league debut etched into his back.

And, yes, you’re right…it does look like it was probably painful.
