No one could have predicted how Wednesday night’s Pacers-Bulls game ended.
The crazy finish was fitting for how exciting the game was, with many lead changes and plenty of back-and-forth action.
With the game tied 100-100 in overtime, fans were starting to prepare for at least five more minutes of action, but the Bulls made sure that didn’t happen. With just 3.7 seconds remaining, Chicago tossed an inbounds pass to Pau Gasol at the top of the key.
Gasol then threw a perfect lob to Jimmy Butler, who tipped in the eventual game-winner at the rim to give the Bulls a 102-100 lead with just 1.2 seconds remaining.
