– uses his strong wrestling to dictate where the fight takes place
– good at passing guard on the ground
– good chin – has never been KO’d
– very experienced – has fought some top names
– very strong physically
– has been almost unstoppable since move to light heavyweight

 

Weaknesses

– inconsistent – has been cut from the UFC once already
– has struggled to make weight in the past (not much of a problem now that he is at light heavyweight)
– on the wrong side of 30
– susceptible to submissions (majority of losses have come via submission)
