UFC 132 Fighter Salaries

This will probably anger quite a few people, considering Jacob Christopher “Tito” Ortiz has quite a few “haters” in the MMA world, but Ortiz came away from UFC 132 with a near-record payday.  His $525,000 cheque is the second biggest of all-time, in terms of reported pay and end of night bonuses, trailing only Chuck Liddell’s $550,000 haul at UFC 79.

Yes, a man who hadn’t won a match since 2006 before shockingly beating Ryan Bader last Saturday night got a raise from $250,000 per fight to $450,000.  The only catch is reportedly Ortiz no longer gets a cut of the PPV revenue like he used to.  But still, Ortiz’s $450,000 base salary is currently the highest in the UFC, even higher than Georges St-Pierre and Brock Lesnar.  His payday from Saturday night also propels Ortiz into fourth place on our all-time UFC fighter career earnings list.

Dominick Cruz: $115,000 ($20,000 to show, $20,000 win bonus, $75,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Urijah Faber: $107,000 ($32,000 to show, $75,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Chris Leben: $92,000 ($46,000 to show, $46,000 win bonus)

Melvin Guillard: $64,000 ($32,000 to show, $32,000 win bonus)

Dong Hyun Kim: $41,000

Dennis Siver: $36,000 ($18,000 to show, $18,000 win bonus)
