(A $420,000 broken nose for Cung Le).

Would you let Wanderlei Silva break your nose for $420,000?  Cung Le would (well he didn’t exactly LET Silva break his nose, it just sorta happened).  Despite losing to The Axe Murderer in the co-main event at UFC 139, Le was the event’s top earner.  As for headliner Dan Henderson, his $320,000 payday on Saturday pushed him to second spot in our 2011 Fighter Salaries: Top 10 Earners list.   Here are the official fighter purses for the event, straight from the California Athletic Commission.

Cung Le: $420,000 ($350,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Dan Henderson: $320,000 ($250,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Wanderlei Silva: $270,000 ($200,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Mauricio Rua: $235,000 ($165,000 to show, $70,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Urijah Faber: $134,000 ($32,000 to show, $32,000 win bonus, $70,000 Submission of the Night bonus)
