UFC 145 Fighter Salaries

It’s good to be the champ.  UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones went home with his belt plus the fattest pockets after UFC 145.  Jones’s reported purse of $400,000 was the largest for the 24 fighters on the card.  But don’t feel too badly for the man Jones bested on Saturday night, Rashad Evans.  Evans is still the top-earning fighter in all of mixed martial arts this year, and one of the ten highest-earning fighters of all-time.

Here is UFC 145’s official fighter purses released by the Georgia Athletic Commission.

Jon Jones: $400,000

Rashad Evans: $300,000

Ben Rothwell: $169,000  ($52,000 to show, $52,000 win bonus, $65,000 Knockout of the Night bonus)

Travis Browne: $89,000 ($12,000 to show, $12,000 win bonus) $65,000 Submission of the Night bonus)

Mark Hominick: $82,000 ($17,000 to show, $65,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Eddie Yagin: $77,000 ($6,000 to show, $6,000 win bonus, $65,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Mac Danzig: $54,000 ($27,000 to show, $27,000 win bonus)
