*Check out The Howl Podcast*

The Howl podcast is here for all your Minnesota Timberwolves basketball needs, analysis, and entertainment. We have a free CD and ticket giveaway. Subscribe and listen for details. Sims (@SIMSdoomtree) will be selecting one person this week who shares the podcast or gives us some love via Twitter his album More Than Ever. Also, now and through the holidays we will be looking for another winner to be selected by Sims for a pair of tickets to an upcoming performance at First Avenue. Simply like The Howl Facebook Page or drop us a rating/review on iTunes.

In typical fashion we break down the prior week of Timberwolves action. Yes, we discuss the meltdown against the Celtics. Aaron (@AaronGroshong) and Kevin (KDraves42) get into how Karl-Anthony Towns won his first ever match up against Joel Embiid in the 1st quarter of The Howl.

Our in studio guest this week is Sims from Doomtree. Sims is a huge basketball fan and especially enjoys the Timberwolves. He recently released a brand new album called More Than Ever. We are lucky enough to feature four tracks of the album in this week’s episode: A Bad Flying Bird, Icarus, Brutal Dance,Buckets. This was our chance to talk about how the album came to be, his current More Than Ever Tour, and an upcoming show at First Ave, on January 6, 2017 featuring Webster X, Air Credits, Nazeem and Spence Joles. You can buy his album or learn more about upcoming events at doomtree.net.

Sims sticks around for the 3rd quarter as the crew discusses as much NBA, Timberwolves, and blasphemous trade talk as possible. We even broke out the ESPN Trade Machine. Listen in to see what trades we concocted.

This week The Howl reruns the hit game show “Can Kevin Cousy?” as Aaron Groshong goes head-to-head against Sims. Want to find out who won? Here’s a hint…it came down to the final question!
