Opponent Notes:
– Tampa has won four straight games.

– Steven Stamkos scored his league leading 20th goal Monday night. He now has 10 goals and five assists over his past nine contests, and has recorded a point in all but three of Tampa Bay’s games.

– Martin St. Louis has a goal and seven assists in the last four games.

– The Lightning have lost three straight to the Rangers.

– Simon Gagne (neck) is most likely out tonight. He has been on injured reserve since Oct. 22 with a neck strain that caused some minor vision and balance issues.

– Mike Smith has won three consecutive games.

– Vinny Lecavalier will be out four to five weeks after suffering a non-displaced fracture in his right hand on Nov. 11. He underwent surgery on Nov. 15.
