The End

‪I’ve tried to convince myself that my lack of posts lately is to fend off burnout, but I’ve come to conclusion that my head’s not into it anymore. So I’m stepping away from TheNYRBlog for good. In the past I’ve shut the blog down due to life. This time it’s on my terms. I thank you for all your support over the years. It’s meant the world to me.

  3. You are (were) my favorite NYR blogger hands down. No one else even comes close to your ability to combine great reporting with solid insight and a healthy dose of humor .

You will be missed (just like last time) but your happiness comes first.

Sorry to see you go, but wishing you the best of luck.

  6. Kevin – I’ve been reading your blog for almost 5 years now , being a die hard Ranger fan for over 40 years now ,your thoughts hit the nail on the head every time , after a brutal loss (too many of those) or a great win. I will miss that along with the humor ,but I certainly understand you stepping away. If I ever run into to you at the Garden I owe you more than a few beers !
Good luck to you , LGR

  7. Believe the last time Kevin stepped down from the blog, the rangers went all the way to the Stanley cup final. This could be a good sign! Allthough hate to admit it, following the rangers that year, was only half as fun as any of the DeLury years! Thank God Kevin is still on twitter! And thank God 140 characters have gone to 280!

  8. No need to turn a passion into a burden. Being a Ranger fan should be fun not taxing. Really enjoyed the blog for the past 4 years. I had assumed you quit posting so as not to jinx the guys while on their run. Sad day for us fans. Good luck Kevin and Go Rangers!

  10. I’m Scottish and found your blog after my first ice hockey game ever, rangers v penguins at msg. Since then I have been a hockey fan, followed the rangers since, followed ice hockey in my home country of Scotland and just attended the nhl global game in Sweden last weeks, I have even tried my hand at playing reccy hockey all from the love of hockey I gained from the rangers and the nyrangerblog! Your blog has been my go to place after every rangers game, there arent many rangers fans over here I can chat to the games about so the blog is my place for that!

    Keep tweeting!

    Thanks for all the posts
