Pablo Sandoval’s weight-loss plan is not going well (PHOTOS)

Boston Red Sox first baseman Pablo Sandoval was said to have already lost about 20 pounds, but after seeing some recent photos, we believe that the scale needs to be recalibrated.

While manager John Farrell has said he doesn’t have a specific weight in mind for Sandoval, he did indicate that the big guy needs to be in better condition.

That’s an understatement, judging by the photos from spring training that have been circulating on social media.

We have to wonder what Sandoval was doing during the offseason — besides eating, of course.
