Pacers play well at last, beat Bulls

Feels like it has been forever since the Indiana Pacers have played well, but that's what happened tonight against the Chicago Bulls at home. After a tight first half, the Pacers went on an 19-0 run in the third to blow the game open, and the Bulls would not get closer than 8 the rest of the way. Final score, 91-79.

It's just one game, but maybe this is the one the Pacers will look back on as the corner-turner after a lackluster couple of months. Paul George was a woeful 3-13 from the field but finished with a 10-12-10 triple double. Luis Scola was the star tonight with a season high 19 points while Lance Stephenson had 15. All five Pacers starters finished in double figures as Hibbert had 12 and West and Hill had 10 apiece.

Miami wrapped up a come-from-behind victory over Memphis to not fall further behind and will have an opportunity to get a game closer tomorrow because the Pacers will play the Grizzlies in Memphis. The Pacers have been horrible on the second night of back-to-backs on the road, and the Grizzlies will be looking to get one back against an Eastern Conference foe. This is a game the Pacers would probably lose even when they are playing well, so how things turn out tomorrow night will be a sound gauage of where they are as a team right now.
