Rob Gronkowski takes a spill on concrete after catch

The Broncos said this week that the best way to stop Rob Gronkowski is to hit him low.

They’ve done a pretty good job containing him in the AFC championship game. Through three quarters he caught four passes for 67 yards, but this probably wasn’t what the Broncos had in mind.

Gronkowski did a little slipping and sliding on the sideline after catching a 12-yard pass from Tom Brady late in the third quarter.

The Patriots’ All-Pro tight end slipped on concrete behind the Patriots sideline. 49ers running back Reggie Bush fell on a strip of concrete in St. Louis during the regular season. Bush tore his meniscus, but Gronkowski escaped unscatched.
