Gallardo brilliant again in 5-3 win

Yovani Gallardo notched his 3rd win of the season Tuesday night in Cincy, holding the Reds scoreless until the 7th; Adam Dunn’s 2-run shot in the 8th off Derrick Turnbow brought the Reds within one at 4-3,  but the Brewers plated an insurance run in the top of the 9th, Coco Cordero came in for his 32nd save of the year, and the Crew took game two.
Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder each went 2-for-4.  The game was the Crew’s 100th game of the season, and their record is now 56-44.
With the Cubs’ 4-3 win, the Brewers remain only 2 ahead in the loss column;  Jeff Suppan gets the ball Wednesday night.
