My thoughts on the Royals’ game

Well, at least the box score portion of it.
1. We came from behind to win, 7-6, which is always nice.
2. But we took a 5-3 lead into the ninth and gave up 3 runs–José Capellan allowed 3 hits, including a pair of doubles.
3. Francisco Cordero fanned 2 in his 1 IP of work.
4. Cappy bounced back–only 2 hits with 2 K’s in 3 IP…and 0 runs…earned or otherwise.
5. Prince Fielder doubled…twice. Oh, and went 3-for-3, upping his Cactus League BA to .800!
6. Laynce Nix hit a dinger…his second of the spring (huh?).
7. Former Brewer Wayne Franklin proved he is still hittable, blowing the save and getting the ‘L’ for the Royals, surrendering 2 hits and 2 BB’s leading to 2 ER’s.
