Lots going on over the weekend, so I thought I’d link you to some morning reading material worth checking out to get your week started with relevant Saints news. You can check them all out below by making the jump. By the way, the NFL Hall of Fame game that opens the NFL preseason and features the Saints and Cardinals is now just 41 days away.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk theorizes that it’s Remi Ayodele, not Anthony Hargrove, that said “give me my money” after the big hit on Brett Favre.

Speaking of Brett Favre, asked about the supposed bounty on his head, he says “I really don’t care”.

Former Saints’ fullback Mike Karney, who did an interview with Saints Nation a month ago, said of the Saints “there’s a lot of evil in that organization”.

Dave of CSC informs us that a ruling from Roger Goodell could come today, and we all know it will feature no changes.

Speaking of Roger Goodell, Scott Fujita is making his voice heard by blasting the NFL bounty probe as a “smear campaign”.

Unrelated to bountygate, but somewhat relevant as it pertains to player safety with regard to concussions specifically, Drew Brees has teamed up with PACE (Protecting Athletes through Concussion Education) to promote awareness as to the ill effects of the injury and provide free concussion tests at schools.
