Robert Griffin III cleared for full contact at practice

Hue Jackson has an additional option when deciding who will start at quarterback when the Browns return from their bye in Week 14.

Robert Griffin III can now practice with full contact, according to Pro Football Talk. Griffin broke a bone in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the season opener at Philadelphia.

Cody Kessler is out of the concussion protocol. Josh McCown completed 25 of 43 passes for 322 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 27-13 loss to the Giants, but he didn’t practice Tuesday because of a swollen finger.

If the Browns do start Griffin Dec. 11 at home against the Bengals, it might add a curiosity factor to the game. That might mean that fans have to pay a two-digit dollar amount for seats in the upper level.
