Russell Westbrook hilariously reveals why he doesn’t watch film

Russell Westbrook might have his “We talking about practice?” moment.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star talked with Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript about why he doesn’t need to watch  film.

Long story short…he doesn’t need to:

No argument here. With Kevin Durant out of the way, Westbrook almost has triple-double averages this season at 32.0 points, 9.9 assists and 9.7 rebounds per game. He’s not the best on the defensive end and some might point out avoiding film work might be part of the problem.

Either way, Westbrook’s coaches probably didn’t want him to say this. But again, it’s hard to be mad at a guy who inked a contract extension after his partner in crime left. It’s hard to be mad at a guy that stuffs the stat sheet and might have the Thunder keeping pace in an otherwise stacked Western Conference.

Westbrook is good enough to make others watch film on him, not the other way around. He’s also, clearly, one of the best interviews in the NBA.
