Things aren’t going well for the Blazers this season, and the frustration from being a 9-10 team seems to be taking a toll on the players.
Shooting guard C.J. McCollum completely lost his cool in the second quarter of Sunday’s 130-114 loss to the Rockets, and was lucky he wasn’t ejected for his outburst. McCollum was forced to put up a tough shot as the shot clock was winding down, but it was blocked by Patrick Beverley.
McCollum thought he was fouled on the play, so he took the ball and threw it at an official in frustration.
The Blazers guard was hit with a technical foul, but should have been ejected.
