Notre Dame defensive lineman Jerry Tillery lost his cool during Saturday’s game against USC, and he’ll be lucky to not be suspended for his actions in the near future.
It all started when Trojans running back Aca’Cedric Ware was laying on the field after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit, and Tillery kicked him in the head while walking by.
But he didn’t stop there.
He then stomped on the foot of Trojans offensive tackle Zach Banner, who was also down after the play.
Tillery was hit with a personal foul, but should’ve been ejected from the game immediately. Notre Dame’s coaching staff took him off the field after the penalty, but he came back on soon after.
This dirty sequence of events looked like something Ndamukong Suh used to do, and the NCAA needs to take a long, hard look at it.
