Watch: Best, Worst Fan Catches from 2014 Home Run Derby

The 2014 Home Run Derby featured plenty of “wow” moments and some awesome fan reactions as well. And when it was all said and done, Athletics OF Yoenis Cespedes put together an epic performance and absolutely spanked Todd Frazier in the final, 9-1.

Cespedes may have dominated and stolen the show, but it was all about the fans and what was going on in the stands that really had us glued to our TV sets.

Let’s take a look at some of the best (and worst) fan catches on the night.

Best:
A dad caught his second home run ball of the night, and he was pretty pumped about it.

This guy just decided to hold his mitt up to the sky and hope for the best. Somehow, it worked out for him and he made the catch.

Worst:
…Missed it by that much.

Boink!

It’s time to buy a new hat.

…And the man with the giant glove:

A fun time was had by all, and Cespedes joined the likes of Ken Griffey Jr. after winning his second consecutive title.
