Video: Javy Baez’s first home run at Wrigley Field lands in Waveland Ave

Chicago Cubs infielder Javier Baez had already hit three home runs in his first eight MLB games heading into Wednesday’s Milwaukee-Chicago matchup.

And he hit one more on Wednesday night—a moon shot to left field off pitcher Kyle Lohse. The ball was hit so hard that it left the park and landed in Waveland Avenue.

Lohse hung one and Baez made him pay. The 21-year-old has provided the team with a spark since being called up on Aug. 5, and he’ll be crushing plenty more home runs at Wrigley in the future.
