Former Brewer Mike Coolbaugh killed during Texas League game

SI.com reports that former Brewers’ infielder Mike Coolbaugh died as the result of injuries sustained during a minor league game Sunday evening.
Coolbaugh made his MLB debut with Milwaukee, and played in 39 games for the Brewers in 2001, batting .200, with 2 HR’s and 7 RBI’s. Coolbaugh wore uniform #14, the 14th and last Brewer to wear that uniform number, according to the Brewers’ ’07 media guide.
According to the SI.com article, the 35 year-old coach is survived by his wife and two children.
