June 4, 2009 – MLB Network today will air bonus coverage of the make-up game of last night’s San Francisco Giants at Washington Nationals as Giants pitcher Randy Johnson’s pursues his 300th career win. Coverage starts with the first pitch at 4:30 p.m. ET until 7:00 p.m. ET when MLB Network will air its regularly-scheduled match-up of the Chicago Cubs at Atlanta Braves as part of this week’s edition of Thursday Night Baseball, called by MLB Network host Matt Vasgersian and MLB Network analyst Joe Magrane. MLB Network will provide comprehensive updates of Johnson’s progress as part of its Thursday Night Baseball coverage. MLB Tonight will follow Thursday Night Baseball with updates and highlights from the day’s games.

Games will be aired weather-permitting and will be blacked out in each team’s home television territory. Viewers in areas subject to blackouts will be provided with alternate programming.
