This was a year for the Buffalo franchise at Canton. One of the greatest pass rushers of all time, Bruce Smith and Ralph Wilson, who has a stadium named after him, were inducted into the Hall along with Derrick Thomas, Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, and the great Rod Woodson.
Rod, inducted as a Steeler, thanked Steelers fans for cheering for him when he wore the black and gold. He also thanked Steelers Nation for booing him when he was a Raider and a Raven, because he would have lost respect for Steelers fans if they hadn’t. What a human being.
Question of the day: will this be the closest TO ever gets to the Hall of Fame?
