Bob Uecker turns 75 today, which is a little unbelievable. Even though he’s been calling Brewers games for nearly as long as they’ve been around, it’s never seemed like he’s that old — he definitely looks a young 75, even if he’s starting to misjudge some flyballs (how many “GET UP! GET UP! Caught at the warning track.” calls did we hear last year?).
Nevertheless, he’s still the face of the Milwaukee Brewers to most people — even more so than Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Prince Fielder, or Ryan Braun. So here’s to wishing Ueck a Happy Birthday, and to celebrate, here’s a collection of my favorite lines from Major League:

I feel like we actually re-lived that last line a few times with Derrick Turnbow. And finally, a YouTube clip that includes some of Ueck’s best real-life calls of Ryan Braun homers. The best moment of my (admittedly short) life is at 1:41 — Braun’s bomb against the Cubs on September 28, 2008 that essentially won the Wild Card. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Ueck’s birthday.
